Teaching aims

1.能聽、說、讀、寫句型“What can you do? I can… .

2.能聽、說、認讀Read and write中的對話,幫助學生理解句子:We can help her. Just do it.

3. 幫助學生樹立正確的勞動觀,培養學生樂于助人的好品質。

Main points and difficulties

1.重點:掌握四會句型:What can you do? I can… .

2.難點:正確拼寫四會句型。

教師準備多媒體課件和相關詞卡。

Teaching Steps

Step1 Warm-up/review

1.Let’s do

T: Hello, children. It’s a little cold today. So first let’s do, OK?

Ss: OK!

T: Stand up, please.

Ss: Stand up, stand up.

Go to the library. Water the flowers. Go to the canteen. Read a story-book.

Go to the teacher’s office. Hand in the homework. Go to the playground. Play football.

2. Free talk

T: Good. Sit down, please. Now look. (教師手指課件中的Let’s do 圖片。)

What can the children do?

Ss:…(教師把相應圖片中涉及的詞組貼到黑板上,如run, play football, eat noodles, read a story-book, hand in the homework)

Step2 Presentation/Practice

1. Write the sentences

T: Yes, they can do many things. You, too. (教師拿出事先準備好的寫在四線格的句子What can you do? I can… .) Read these sentences.(可以分組讀,也可以檢測個別同學的發音。) Let's write them down. Look carefully. 教師將句型寫到黑板中劃出的四線格上。

T: Now raise your hands, let’s write together.

2. Pair work

T: You’re helpful. (教師隨意叫一位學生) What can you do?

S1: I can… .

T: Oh, good. What about you?

S2: I can… .

T: Let’s ask and answer in pairs. OK?

同桌自由操練句型,并展示兩三組。

3. Let’s chant

T: We have written these phraises…(教師出示本單元已學的四會詞組:water the flowers, cook the meals, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom) 邊貼邊讓學生一起說:I can … .

Let’s ask and answer group by group.(根據黑板上的詞組,教師讓學生分組邊問邊答,充分操練句型。)

4. Read and write.

a. Ask and answer

You’re so helpful. The animals are helpful too. Today Mother Goat is ill(生病). What can the animals do? Look at the pictures and think, What can the animals do?

T: This is Monkey. What can Monkey do? Guess please. What about Rabbit, Zoom, Zip? Ask and answer in pairs, Ok?

b. Listen

T: Listen, please. What can the animals do?(課件播放,學生聽一遍)

c. Answer four questions.

Q1: What can Monkey do? Monkey can… .

Q2: What can Rabbit do? Rabbit can… .

Q3: What can Zip do? Zip can… .

Q4: What can Zoom do? Zoom can… .

d. Ask and answer together.

T: Super, let’s ask and answer together.(看著學生完成的問句問答。)

e. Listen and repeat.

T: Well down. Listen and repeat.(句句跟讀,但對句子”Just do it!”要稍作解釋。)

f. Open the books and read together, then finish the exercises.

T: Open your books to page 48. Read together.

It’s time to finish the exercises in your books.(讓學生完成書本作業。)

Step3 Extension/ Consolidation

1.Group work

T: You have done. That’s good. Look, Mother Goat is happy now. She says to the repoter:

I’m old and ill. But the animals can help me. Monkey can sweep the floor. Bird can read books for me… .What about other animals? What can Zoom do?

(課件出示好幾種動物, 一個一個問并回答,每出示一種動物可以讓三四個學生自由說。)

T: You have your opion. This is Mother Goat’s letter. (邊說邊點擊課件欣賞,并放音樂)Let’s have a look.

T: We know, Motehr Goat is ill and old. The animals can help her. Boys and girls, what can you do with the old people in Weal House(福利院) (課件出示孩子們在為福利院的老人做家務,并表演節目給老人看。)

T: We can make a plan in groups. 教師走到一組學生面前,示范說:Who can help me? I’m Cherry. I can sing and dance. What can you do? I can… .(以開火車形式問答)

T: OK. Let’s write them down. (教師示范組成員書寫)

T: Give your paper to me.

I’m Cherry. I can sing and dance. ╳╳ can… . ╳╳ can… . ╳╳ can… . We’re helpful!

T: Boys and girls. Ask and answer one by one, then write them down. Just do it!

學生分組操練,并進行小組示范。
